It’s official. The weather has started to get a little bit chillier, so much so, that we can even get away with wearing a light jumper or a denim jacket during the day. Although I feel that we’ve still got a long way to go to be able to switch to our winter wardrobe, I like to stay ahead of the times. I have a habit of buying winter pieces way ahead of schedule which means that I get to simply admire and look at them in my wardrobe for a few months before I can actually wear them.
Here are my top picks worth investing in right now!
Red boots are EVERYWHERE! Whether they’re over-the-knee boots, knee high boots, flat boots or heeled boots, there’s a version of this trend all over the stores and Instagram feed. My personal favourite? I love my heeled ankle booties!
Ditch your beanies! Brimmed hats, berets and bucket hats are taking over the scene. This trend might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it can turn your outfit from boring to chic.
It’s all about the detail. With this trend, the focus is on the neck. If you thought statement necklaces could make heads turn, wait till you try out the Victorian collar. Plus, there’s the added bonus that you will never feel cold again!
We’re going back in time with this trend. Fishnets go back and forth in the cool scale so it’s a wise idea to always keep a spare pair at the back of your closet to wear when they’re on trend again. This season, this stocking trend is big so you’d better bring your A game!
They say: ''When in doubt, wear red'' – I like to add some coffee too 😂🙏 ☕️ #dejjem . . Yes, finally! My favourite length skirts are back in! If you’re not a fan of minis and you can’t pull of the maxi skirts, this length is perfect for you. I love the fact that you can wear them with trainers and you’ll still look put together!
Note: You NEED them all!
