Day 5 kicked off with a show by Suzana Peric from Serbia presenting her collection Dancing in the clouds. Her designs were published in a number of fashion magazines including ELLE, Voque Italia and Fashion TV. It was a very beautiful, feminine collection with ruffle dresses in white, baby pink and black colour. It was very enjoyable to watch the show, the models looked like they are literally dancing in the clouds.
Nathan Micallef is the winner of the best designer award from last year and this year he had his own presentation called Really Not Real. It was a very contemporary and edgy presentation I actually really enjoyed. The concept and styling was really strong something I was missing in other shows. Not only the designs were something different but also accessories like earrings and sunglasses really got my attention.
The last show of the day and the fashion week was Ritienne Zammit. Ritienne is one hell of a designer always having a collection with a very strong concept, bold prints and impeccable styling. Her latest collection is called I Love Valletta with vintage pieces with a modern twist.
To finish off the fashion week I was invited to Mercedes-Benz Kind’s reception that was held just a few steps away from the main area. The bubbly never tasted better!
