The Most Instagrammable Pieces For The Weekend

Words by Lyndsey Grima

There’s no doubt about it. This summer, heatwaves are hitting us like no other year. If we’re not at the beach trying to cool off, we’re constantly looking up heatproof makeup tutorials to minimise the risk of our face melting off. Sometimes the heat might drain out all our energy to even try and look something like ourselves.

But if you’re anything like me, you’ll always try and find a reason to shop for the occasion. Whether it’s extreme heat or terribly cold weather, I always seem to convince myself that I do not have enough clothes in my wardrobe to fit the part. But even a shopaholic like me will have to think twice before venturing out into the heat to hit the shops.

There is a simple solution…online shopping. The great thing about doing your shopping online in this heat is that you can switch on the AC and shop at your heart’s content. Problem solved!

Here are four online shops we are obsessed with at the moment! I tried to limit myself into choosing ONE piece currentlty trending on Instagram. Believe me, it was difficult!

You can never go wrong with a little (or a lot of) Zara shopping. Your credit card, on the other hand, will not be as happy about it. Zara is always big on the trends and if you’re looking for a low-budget dupe, Zara is your gal. Aren’t these mules gorgeous?

Whoever said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend has never logged onto Asos. This online shop needs no explanation. It literally has EVERYTHING. From high-street brands to luxury pieces, shopping has never been easier. I’m currently wishing it was a tad cooler so I can wear this suede biker jacket.

Net-a-Porter is my guilty pleasure. It’s the online shop I log onto whenever I feel like I deserve an early birthday present. And it’s always WAY to early! It’s too hard to choose a favourite but I’ve always been a sucker for Chloé bags. This is just one of my favourites. I’m taking a little break from writing this to drool at all the rest.

With its fairly recent inclusion of having Malta as part of their shipping countries, it’s been an amazing experience browsing through the Mango site and knowing I will be able to purchase items that might not be in stock at our local stores. Mango pieces are everywhere right now, but I just love these Mango mint pants.

I’ve saved so many items in my chart at all these online shops. The damage is done!
